Old Barn - New Coffee Shop

May was a very exciting month for Abbots Green and York House as the finishing touches were put to a suberb barn conversion, allowing for an indoor recreation area along with the idyllic 'Old Barn Coffee Shop'. 

At the opening it was clear to see that the new facility made a very positive impression with some customers even wanting details of paint and soft furnishings so that they could have them at home! 

Serving 'proper coffee', tea, soft drinks and a great selection of local homemade produce the Old Barn represents the final piece of the jigsaw as Phi Brierley explains. 'We have a fantastic quiet family park with the gated community of Abbots Green and  a five acre play area which allows those who want restful peace and quiet to have just that yet, at the same time, there is a great area for people to play with the family.  What we were missing was a quality indoor area where you could sit, relax, chat and enjoy the odd treat! Now we have that in the Old Barn the jigsaw is complete'
